Presentation

The new Regulation EU 305/2011 aims to simplify the procedures for placing products on the market, clarifying certain points of the directive with more precise definitions and introducing important innovations on ‘CE marking of construction products’.

The course illustrates the requirements to which to adapt and provides concrete cases exemplifying the innovations introduced, and is intended in particular for persons involved in the management of welding activities.

The entry into force of the EN 1090-1 standard on the execution of steel and aluminium structures introduces a new way of identifying and qualifying products that comply with this standard.

The objective is to deliver a training course that provides the basics of metallurgy, weldability, welding technology, manufacturing and control applied to your product with particular focus on the management of WPS, process and personnel qualifications, visual inspection and validation of new, as yet unqualified welding processes. The course will be delivered by teachers with significant experience in the certification and testing of structural metal products.
