PRESENTATION

EU Regulation 305/2011 has simplified the procedures for placing construction products on the market
clarifying certain points of the directive with more precise definitions and introducing important innovations
to the ‘CE marking of construction products’.

Legislative Decree 106/2017 specifies the obligations for producers, companies and designers, the builder, the project
manager, the director of execution or the tester who, within the scope of their specific expertise, use
construction products subject to CE marking.

The entry into force of the EN 1090-1 standard on the execution of steel and aluminium structures introduces a new way of identifying and qualifying products that comply with this standard. The new Technical Standards for Constructions NTC2018 carry forward the requirements of the EN 1090 standards, but add
further specifications, both for the constituent materials and for construction on site.
The course illustrates the mandatory requirements and provides concrete examples of the innovations introduced for the steel construction sector and recalling the demands of the main actors in the supply chain.

TEACHERS
The course will be delivered by teachers with significant experience in the certification and
international regulation of construction products.
